  • Existing Request homepage comments have been migrated and stored.
  • The new comments feature (deployed to the Segment and Request homepages) allows users to make distinct comments that are recorded with user's name and a timestamp.
  • The Action Memo remarks/comments have been added to the revisions list page. Users can opt to view all Action Memo comments, close all Action Memo comments, or open selected comments.

Segment

  • Accounts cannot be activated without a valid root; using the unspecified root will no longer be an option.
  • Active segments must have a PI record with an associated HUID. The only exception to this validation is at-risk accounts; those may be set up with an HUID-less PI record.
  • Validation that required the entry of submission date for non-financial reports has been removed. Entering submission dates for non-financial reports is optional and will not prevent segment closeout.
  • Issue has been addressed regarding an error adding budget period to request with TBD research team member.
  • Issue has been addressed to ensure that deleted IDC rates (not posted to the General Ledger) will no longer appear on the Action Memo.
  • Issue has been addressed to prevent multiple PIs and Mentors from being added to a research team.

General

  • Removed validation on segment closeout for nonfinancial reports
  • Updated version for Grants.gov Fellowship and Career Development forms
  • PIN changes: Users will not need to re-enter PIN credentials to access the other applications listed below:

    • GMAS: Grants Management Application Suite
    • ESTR: Electronic Submission Tracking & Reporting System
    • Oracle
    • PeopleSoft
    • CREW: Common Reporting Environment for the Warehouse
    • Logging out of one application will not log you out of all of the applications you have open. With this new authentication process, it is still important to log out of applications that you are not actively using. Your PIN session can still be timed out, and you will still need to re-enter PIN credentials if your session is timed out. Also note that logging out of GMAS or PeopleSoft ends the current PIN session that allows access to the other applications listed here without having to re-enter PIN credentials. To re-establish a PIN session that allows the "single sign on" experience, you will need to re-enter PIN credentials when accessing an application AFTER logging out of GMAS or PeopleSoft (applications opened BEFORE logging out of GMAS or PeopleSoft will remain active).

Technical

  • JackRabbit upgrade from version 2.4.3 to 2.6.3.
  • Jquery upgrade from version 1.8.3 to 1.10.2
