Working Moms with Supportive Supervisors Spend More Daily Time with Daughters

The results of a flagship WFHN study published in Pediatrics indicate that working mothers who, as part of the WFHN intervention, had supervisors that were trained to be more supportive of their employees' personal and family lives and schedule control, were spending approximately 40 minutes more per day with their daughters 12 months after the intervention.

Calestous Juma Publishes Op-Ed on AllAfrica.com

Calestous Juma, Professor of the Practice of International Development and Director of the Science, Technology, and Globalization Project at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs, published an op-ed on AllAfrica.com entitled "Creativity, Imagination Critical for Africa's Rebooting."

NDSR Boston Selects Host for 2015/16 Residency

NDSR Boston has selected the five host institutions for the 2015-2016 set of residency projects.  The host institutions will be the Harvard Library, MIT Libraries, John F. Kennedy Presidential Library and Museum, the University Archives and Special Collections in the Joseph P. Healey Library at the University of Massachusetts Boston, the State Library of Massachusetts.

Resident Applications to NDSR Boston are still being accepted for five residents through May 8, 2015.
